  • Running SEO audits, keyword research, and on-page optimization across multiple client websites.

  • Managing and reporting on Google Ads accounts (search campaigns), including keyword match type strategy, bid management, and budget pacing within tight client budgets.

  • Doing outreach and prospecting for backlinks, including unlinked mention recovery.

  • Setting up and troubleshooting GA4 and Google Search Console, including resolving account access and property issues.

  • Coordinating with the content and social teams so SEO keyword targets show up in the copy that actually gets published.

  • Staying on top of algorithm updates and Google Ads policy changes that affect live client accounts

What you'll be doing

We're looking for a Search Marketing Specialist who can move between organic and paid search without needing a handoff between two different people. You'll own SEO execution and reporting for a set of client accounts while also running Google Ads campaigns, from keyword strategy to budget pacing.

This is a hands-on role, not a strategy-only seat. You'll be doing the keyword research yourself, writing the on-page fixes yourself, and building the ad groups yourself.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience with local SEO or NDIS/healthcare niches.

  • Experience in Meta Ads.

  • Google Ads certification.

  • Experience with link-building outreach at scale.

Nice to have:

  • 1-2 years of experience in SEO and/or Google Ads, ideally both.

  • Agency experience preferred. You should know what it's like to manage several client accounts at once with different goals and different budgets.

  • Working knowledge of Ahrefs (or SEMrush), Google Search Console, GA4, and Google Ads.

  • Comfortable with exact match keyword strategy and manual bid control, not just automated campaign types.

  • Basic understanding of on-page HTML/CMS structure (WordPress is common here).

  • Good written communication skills.
